HAWAII

In April we took a family vacation to Hawaii and we had a blast. The girls loved the beach and playing in all the pools. Brad and I loved just hanging out. We were able to bike ride down a volcano, snorkel, and enjoy a few other activities. What a beautiful place.

One day we decided to hike to a waterfall. But to get there we had to drive to Hona. The road to Hona is only about 60 miles but it is S curves the entire way and it takes 3 hour. It was a fun ride with amazing views. Along the way we saw rainbow Trees (It looks like the trees are painted with all different colors, but that is the way they grow). Well it was a two mile hike and the girls did awesome. They hiked almost the entire way. Along the hike we walked through a bamboo forest and it was quite the sight to see. There was Bamboo everywhere. I will have to post pictures of the waterfall later they are on my sister-in-laws camera. Oh and Thank you to Jaclyn for joining us on the trip.

The Beach we stayed at did not have a lot of waves but it was awesome for snorkeling.

Reese mostly loved to sleep listening the ocean and the wind, but she did get in the water a few times.

The girls loved this slide. Especially Allie. Everyday she would say, "can we only do the slide today." Kendel loved doing handstands and cartwheels on the beach and on every bit of grass she could find.
